We took time out of the busy week and met with a photographer to get promotional pictures done for our business.
You know some things haven’t changed through the years. Our sons still dislike having pictures made almost as much as when they were younger.
The last time we did family pictures, Deborah didn’t tell them; she eased them into the idea first.
We went out to eat at Longhorn and once they were full and happy, we mentioned to them that there were new shirts for each of them in the car. Could they put them on? Because we had appointments to have pictures made at Sears.
Deborah said all this casually, like this was nothing remarkable. Eat dinner, put on a shirt and smile for the camera. That’s not hard, right?
Her plan worked, and we did get good family pictures that year with minimal whining. Fast forward a few years, and who could imagine that we would all be working together in this business and need family pictures done for it?
They may have fussed a little bit this time, but I’m very pleased with how the new pictures turned out. Like any proud mama, I wanted to show you the results. What do you think?
